Why agro is structurally distinct

Agro-processing facilities combine three structural challenges most other industries do not face simultaneously: high vertical bin loads, dust-explosion safety provisions, and multi-storey mill buildings with non-aligned cutouts.

Four structural fundamentals

  1. Bin-supporting structure — concentrated point loads from 120 MT bins at every floor level.
  2. Mill building framing — multi-storey with frequent cutouts for vertical conveyors.
  3. Dust-explosion venting — relief panels designed not to transfer overpressure into primary framing.
  4. Vibration from rotating equipment — separators, classifiers, and conveyors transfer dynamic loads.
